The Annual Beats and Eats event drew a large crowd to Blackshear City Park Friday night but the concert was hampered by a pair of thunderstorms — one as the concert began and the second about 9 p.m. However, in between storms those in attendance enjoyed a concert by The Royals of Jacksonville, FL. The band had a high energy show with a play list including the current top 40 to classic hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s. Several local food vendors were also on hand offering concessions. Pictured Kadence Godwin got to go on stage with Brittney of The Royals.
