The Pierce County Volunteer Fire Department (PCVFD) came together as a family at the Historic Blackshear Train Depot for their annual Christmas banquet December 5.
The annual banquet is a special night each year for the county’s firefighters to enjoy fellowship, celebrate one another and express gratitude for the chance to give another year of service to their communities.
The night is also a time to honor the many families who sacrifice so much by sharing their loved ones with the wider community at a moment’s notice. Whether it’s stepping away from the dinner table, a Sunday afternoon nap or a game of football in the backyard, local firefighters answer the call without hesitation.
