Charles Clarence Foreman
Born in Waycross January 20, 1946, he had lived in Pierce County most of his life. He was a 1964 graduate of Blackshear
High
School and was a U.S.
Army veteran having served in Vietnam.

He worked as a police officer for the City of Blackshear for several years before going to work for and retiring from the U.S. Postal Service— Blackshear Post Office— as a rural mail carrier. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days as well as restoring hotrods, especially Corvettes. He was a huge Atlanta Braves fan and in his later years, he found a passion for “thrifting” and became rather good at it.
He was a son of the late Judson Clarence and Edith B. Hall Foreman. He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Will Foreman; and his brother, James Robert “Bobby” Foreman.
Survivors include his three sons and daughtersin- law, Stevie and Brenda Foreman and Craig and Amanda Foreman, all of Blackshear, and Tony and Krista Smith Welch, Chesapeake Beach, MD; nine grandchildren, Justin (Erin) Foreman, Whitney (Drake) Dryden, Chase (Amy) Foreman, Tyler (Kaylee) Foreman, Clay (Colleen) Middleton, Austin (Rebecca) Middleton and Chase (Sidney) Middleton; nine greatgrandchildren with #10 due in February; his former wife and mother of his children, Carol Youmans, Blackshear and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Justin Gambrell officiating.
Interment followed in the Blackshear Cemetery.
