Anne Marie Roberson
Born October 11, 1958 in Wayc ross, Mrs. Roberson was the daughter of the late Emmitt Franklin Roberson and Georgia Ann Clarice Roundtree Roberson. She devoted much of her life to caring for others, having worked as a nurse at Ware-Manor Nursing Home.
Known for her gentle spirit and love of simple joys, Mrs. Roberson found peace in coloring books and had a deep appreciation for Native American culture reflected in her cherished collection of memorabilia.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberson was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Nikki Lynette Hendrix; her brother, A.J. Roberson; and her sister, Darlene Champion.
She is survived by her devoted spouse, Herman Shephard of Hoboken; her children, Waylon F. Roberson of Waycross, William J. Roberson (Sara) of Hoboken and Tiffany C. Hendrix (Joseph) of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Ethan F. Roberson, Ricky A. Lashley, Skyler R. Taylor, Arianna N. Lashley, Savannah Head, Hunter Roberson, Georgia Bell Roberson and Allie Roberson; and her great-grandchildren, River, Fisher, Sailor Roberson, Zayden and Tate Taylor, Logan and Brenton Lashley. She also leaves behind her brothers, Johnny Roberson and Frank Roberson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held today (Wednesday, October 15, 2025) at 4 p.m., at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
