WAYCROSS — Mrs. Rosemary “Rosie” Colgin Williams, 80, died Monday, August 11, 2025, at Memorial Satilla Health.

She was born February 25, 1945, in Waycross to the late Ellerson Colgin and Julia Henderson Colgin.

Mrs. Williams owned and opera ted Wiltronics with her husband for more than 50 years and also operated Rosie’s Studio. She also worked with Johnston Studio for many years.

Mrs. Wiliams was very active with the Waycross Area Community Theatre. While she was serving as president of the WACT, Mrs. Williams helped to oversee the restoration of the Ritz Theatre. She also acted and directed in many shows including “Kiss The Bride,” “Snow White,” “Web Of Murder,” and “Christmas In Oz.” During the 1999-2000 season, she was the recipient of the Waycross Area Community Theatre Award.

Mrs. Williams was the 1999 recipient of the Morris Jacobson Brotherhood Award, the Chamber Ambassador of the Year in 2009, and the Jack Williams Award for Community Service winner in 1999. She was a graduate from NAMM Sales training Institute, a member of the Waycross/Ware County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where she wrote the Chamber Chatter, and was one of the founders of Pogo People and PogoFest. She was also active in Toast Makers and Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Colgin.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 59 years, Hugh Williams of Waycross; two sisters, Sandra Snow of Richmond, Va., and Pat Cullison of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and numerous other relatives and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 28 in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
