Felina Renee “Lena” “Red” Miller, 47, of Patterson, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Brooks County Hospital in

Quitman.

She was born August 6, 1977 in Blackshear, the daughter of Gilda Miller and Earl Davis.

She attended the Pierce and Wayne County School Systems then later earned her GED and certified nursing assistant certification. She worked as a CNA for many years and later on began working at Target Distribution until her health declined.

She especially loved to spend time with family and friends. She had a heart of gold and a contagious smile and laugh.

She was a member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Tommy Miller Sr.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Alexis Renee Miller, Patterson; three grandchildren, Kassidy Smith, Khalil Smith and Kaleb Miller; her mother, Gilda Miller, Jesup; her father, Earl Davis of Virginia; brother, Travis Miller, Jesup, nephew, Shekih Williams, Blackshear; uncles, Clifford Davis Jr., Patterson, Ronnie (Flora) Davis, Madison, AL, Isaiah Chester, Brunswick and Tommy (Andrea) Miller, Waycross; special aunt, Sarah Davis, Patterson; special cousins, Aubrin Rhem, Atlanta, Jeff Floyd, Stockbridge, Sheena Rhem, Jahlon Rhem and Tommy Lee Miller Jr., all of Blackshear, Cierra Miller, Altanta, Robin (Fernando) Grant, Waycross, Marcus Lott, Blackshear, Patrick (Keyonna) Palmer Jr., Blackshear and Patrick (Patricia) Palmer Sr., Patterson; special friends, Kasey Jernigan, Patterson, Danielle Sharpe, Blackshear, Audrey (Cory) Dinkins, Virginia Beach, VA, Valerie (Dewayne) Lott, Blackshear, Theresa Williams, Jesup, Renay Hardwick and Melvin Blake, both of Hinesville and a host of extended family and friends she loved dearly.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 19, from the New Beginnings Fellowship Church, Blackshear.

Pastor Jimmy Copeland presided, Pastor Tommy Lee Miller offered words of comfort and the benediction and Pastor Patricia Shider offered the invocation. Old Testament Scripture was offered by Prophetess Renae Washington and New Testament Scripture was offered by Minister Robin Taylor.

Musical selections were rendered by Soloists Hashondra Smith, Stephen Baker and the New Beginnings Fellowship Choir.

Interment followed in the St. James (The Ridge) Cemetery near Patterson.

Active pallbearers were Berri Van, Willie D. Van, William Sharpe, Fredrick Cummins, Fernando Grant and Antonio Washington.

Honorary pallbearers were Aubrin Rhem, Travis Miller, Juan Floyd, Tommy Lee Miller Jr., Pete Jernigan and Alex Williams.

A repast was held at the Macedonia Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Patterson, following the burial.

Rainge Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Blackshear was in charge of arrangements.
