Frankie Ruth Pennington Baker
Born in Atlanta, Mrs. Baker’s parents were Frank Richard Pennington and Dorothy Lerue Hook Pennington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Allen “Buster” Baker.
Mrs. Baker was a faithful member of Twin Rivers Baptist Church. She worked in food services and auto auctions. She enjoyed gospel music, reading, horseback riding, fishing, cooking, and talking. Mrs. Baker loved sewing with the lady’s of the church, teaching her Children’s Sunday School class, and loved her family and her pets.
Survivors include her four sisters and brothersin- law, Patsy “Penny” Waldron (Ricky), Debbie Wilson (Nade), Terry Pennington and Robin Easterwood; a step-son, Tyrone Baker (Marnie); six grandchildren, Maryih, Haley, James, Isiah, Aubrey and Anthony; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a hos t of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
