Rachel Faye Harden
Mrs. Harden was born October 9, 1942 in Hickox to the late J.D. Hickox and Delia Strickland Hickox. She was a member of Folkston Church of God.
Mrs. Harden loved family, flowers and most of all God. She worked at and later owned Mizell’s House of Flowers for over 30 years.
She loved children and babysat for many years. Over the years, Mrs. Harden served in many positions in the church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harden is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, George Oren Harden; and sisters, Betty Taylor and Alice Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters, Devon Harden and Twylia Harden; daughters-in-love, Betty Phillips (Robert), Caiti Rhoden and Glenda Proctor (David); grandchildren- in-love, Hank Pafford (Ashely), Hannah Chancey (Kyle), Donovan Chancey, Donna Williams

(Luke) and Sophia Cribb; great-grandchildren, Avery Pafford, Johnse Pafford, Haylen Chancey, Rylen Woodcock, Kaylen Chancey and River Williams; sister, Lynette Bryant (Wayne); brotherin- law, Don Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that loved and adored her.
A funeral service was held Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Folkston Church of God.
Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Hank Pafford, Luke Williams, Kyle Chancey, Art Cribb, Kevin Bryant and Arliss Carter.
