She was born in Ware County to the late Clinton Lamar Clark and Nellie Jewell Cleland Clark. She was a certified nursing assistant for more than 30 years and employed at Ware Manor Nursing Home and the Tebeau House for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Crews, Sr.; her son, Billy Crews, Jr.; and a brother, C.L. Clark.

She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Crews and Lisa Cox both of Waycross; two grandchildren, Michael Crews (Jennifer) of Waycross, and Valarie Sandiford (Joshua) of Waycross; four great grandchildren, Michael Ray Crews, Paisley Lynn Crews, Wyatt Lando Crews, and Olivia Sandiford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 18) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hoboken City Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
