Mrs. Woods was born December 1, 1936 in Wayne County to the late Joseph Caleb Lee and Eula Barnes Lee. She retired from Baptist Village as a Registered Nurse.

Mrs. Woods was formerly employed by Dr. Floyd Davis, Memorial Hospital and Okefenokee Tech. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woods was also preceded in death by her husband, John Lenton Woods.

Survivors include her sister, Wanda Wagner; special nieces and nephew, June Everett Pittman, Tracy Pittman (Linda) and Renee Giedl (Bill); great nieces and nephews, Caleb Pittman (Anna), Bennett Pittman, Lindsay Giedl and Chandler Giedl (Hope); special caregivers at Ms. Joe’s Personal Care Home, Joletha, Cat, and Maya; and numerous other family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. ,today (Wednesday, May 7) at Oakland Cemetery.
