Robert ‘Cory’ Griffin
Born in Brunswick, Griffin’s parents are Cathy Diane Bercaw Griffin and the late Robert Stanley Griffin.
Griffin was a firefighter for the Georgia Forestry and served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved the swamp and going fishing, but most of all loved being with his boys.
Survivors include his two sons, Kane Griffin and Kye Griffin, both of Hoboken; wife, Kelly Griffin of Hoboken; his mother, Cathy Griffin of Hoboken; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Becka Whisenant (DeWayne) and Sheila Creech (Timmy) all of Hoboken; two brothers, Kevis Griffin of Brunswick and Chris Davis of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service was held Saturday morning, April 19, 2025 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Flanagan and Rev. Chad Stanley officiating.
Burial followed in High Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brandon Griffin, Brad Manning, Kevis Griffin, Ivan Daniels, Harmon Creech and Lucas Shackleford.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
