
BLACKSHEAR — Jerry L. Lariscy, Sr., 85, of Blackshear died Sunday afternoon, February 8, 2026, at HCA Florida Memorial after a brief illness.
Mr. Lariscy was born in Sylvania, Ga., to the late Paul W. Lariscy and Doris Lariscy, and made Blackshear his home for most of his life. He served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and was the owner/operator of Lariscy

Upholstery for 58 years. He was a longtime attendee of Youmans Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Wesley Lariscy; and two siblings, Linda Kindrick and Kenny Lariscy.
Lariscy is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ann Lariscy of Blackshear; two sons, Jerry Lariscy, Jr., wife Tammy, of Blackshear, and Travis Lariscy, wife Debbie, of Blackshear; five grandchildren, Chelscy Morgan, husband Billy, Ashley Ramey, husband Brandon, Travis Lariscy, Jr., Brianna Lariscy, and Carinna Young; numerous great grandchildren; three siblings, Pat Epps of Plant City, Fla., Benny Lariscy of Waycross, and Terry Lariscy, wife Susan, of Waycross; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 12 at Waters Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., today (Wednesday, February 11) at Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
