DAFFODIL Pre-K recently honored its retired librarian, Charles Eames, with a special gift to celebrate his past service to the students. Although retired, Eames still visits the school on the first Monday of every month to read to the students. On a recent visit, DAFFODIL students turned the tables on Eames by reading to him and presenting him with a book created by each class. Principal Dr. Shawanna Johnson sweetened the day with a special treat for her former staff member.
