Waycross Aglow Lighthouse welcomes Carolyn Williams, president of Georgia State Aglow, as its guest speaker for its next meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14 in the sanctuary of Our Beloved Church, 1700 Osceola Avenue.
Williams also is actively involved in First Love Ministries International, the World Congress o f Women and Men of Prayer, and America’s National Prayer Committee. She said she’s honored and humbled to intercede for the nation across multiple streams within the body of Christ.
Additionally, she is in the grassroots stage of launching Love Your Neighbor, a movement focused on transforming communities through love, prayer, and friendship evangelism.
Williams, a native of Charlotte, N.C., said she has a deep desire to see people grow in their journey with Jesus Christ. Describing herself as a natural cheerleader and encourager, she is passionate about teaching others to practice the presence of God, to hear His voice, and to abide in the secret place.
Williams has been a resident of Atlanta since 2004 where she lives with husband, Jim, a Principal Firmware Developer and also serves in Aglow as a Men of Issachar Coordinator. They’ve been married for 23 years, have five married children and nine grandchildren.
