WCHS rifle scores easy win vs. Bradwell Inst.

Ware County’s rifle team remained perfect downing Bradwell Institute Wednesday at the Ware County Rifle Range.

The Gators “A” team shot 1,159 to the Tigers’ 991. The WCHS “B” squad was second with 1,107 with Ware County “C” third posting 1,018.

Autumn Buskirk led WCHS “A” with a 291 (20 centers), highlighted by a perfect 100 in the prone position. Gabbie Howard followed closely with a 290 (17 centers). Both Camdyn Thornton (18 centers) Mason Briggs also finished posted 289s. Aniston Pittman rounded out the top five scorers with a 286.

Ware County “B” was led by the 289 of Greyson Christmas. Ware County “C” was led by Hayden Lang and Nathan Casavant.

Ware County hosted a match Monday, February 9, 2026 against Groves High School.
