Sights like the ice formations have been common across the southeastern United States, as Winter Storm Gianna has brought freezing temperatures, power outages, and snow flurries with it. This rather large ice display was beside Highway 301, just north of Nahunta Sunday morning. Thousands were left without power across southern states over the weekend, as the high winds toppled trees and power lines. According to the National Weather Service, showers are forecast for Wednesday, followed by another dip below freezing on Thursday night. Temperatures are expected to begin warming gong into next week.
