Patricia Ann Dasher Bruce

KINGSLAND — Patricia Ann Dasher Bruce of Kingsland died at home Saturday, January 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Bruce was born June 12, 1946, in Savannah. She was a graduate of Camden County High School.

Mrs. Bruce and Charles Monroe Bruce enjoyed 61 years of married life that began September 18, 1965.

Her first and most important work was as a wife and mother. Outside of the home, she worked in the office of Dr. Crocker and Dr. Maxwell. Mrs. Bruce worked for many years at Pineland Bank.

She is survived by her husband Charles Bruce; her daughter, Vanda Kay Asbell (Jimmy) of Macon; and her son, Paul Monroe Bruce (Amy) of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Jimmy Asbell III, Avery Bruce, Joshua Asbell and Jackson Bruce.; her brother, Danny Dasher of Woodbine; and good friend, Penny Gaskins of Waynesville.

Mrs. Bruce was an active member of Kingsland Methodist. She has been an active and beloved member of the Woodbine Opry community the past 25 years.

In addition to grandchildren, travel, photography, beaches and her flowers, Mrs. Bruce loved to talk. She was a friend to all and a stranger to none.

A funeral service was held at Kingsland First Methodist Church Wednesday, January 28.

Interment followed at Homeward Cemetery in Waverly.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Wesley Glen Ministries, 4580 North Mumford Rd., Macon, Ga. 31210, or the American Cancer Society.

Coastal Camden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
