KINGSLAND — Mrs. Betty Jean Crosby, 84 of Kingsland, passed away Sunday morning, January 18, 2026, at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta.
Born January 16, 1942, in Kingsland, Mrs. Crosby was the daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Parrish.
A lifetime member of Kingsland First Baptist Church, Mrs. Crosby enjoyed sewing — she was an expert seamstress. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and was an avid Elvis fan.
Mrs. Crosby loved her family deeply — especially her grandchildren, whom she adored and treasured every moment with. She devoted more than 50 years to Citizens State Bank, now PineLand Bank, and retired as vice president.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur “Hollon” Crosby and her siblings Billy Anderson, Francis Anderson, James Anderson and Janice Anderson.
Mrs. Crosby is survived by her sons Brad (Pam) Crosby and Mark (Pamela) Crosby, all of Kingsland; her sister, Martha Ridenour; grandchildren Kristin Mole, Ashley (Aron) Lewis, Cody (Cybil) Crosby, Chloe Crosby and Abby Crosby; great-grandchildren Claire Mole, Walker Lewis and Denver Crosby; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Kingsland First Baptist Church, with Rick Brody presiding.
Coastal Camden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
