BOE holds meetings Feb. 9 & 10 The Ware County Board of Education holds is regular monthly meetings, Monday-Tuesday, February 9-10 at the board office, 1301 Bailey Street.
The panel’s work session will be Monday followed by the regular business meeting Tuesday.
Both meetings begin at 6 p.m. and are open to the public.

Satilla Riverkeeper sets benefit gala The Satilla Riverkeeper will hold a Spring Gala at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at the Blueberry Hill Event Venue, 385 Lynn Holly Lane, Hoboken.
The evening will include dinner, music, an open bar, and both a live auction and a silent auction. Tickets are $150 per person.
All proceeds will upport the Satilla Riverkeeper’s mission to protect the Satilla River.
