WAYCROSS — Mr. Claud P. Goble, Jr., 74, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Hosp ice House Satilla in Waycross.
He was born in Waycross to the late Rev. Claud P. Goble, Sr. and Betty Hayman Goble. He retired from Southern Eagle Distributing, Inc. as a sales supervisor after 34 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hampton Goble of Waycross; a son, Bucky Goble (Tabatha) of Blackshear; two grandsons, Hamp Goble (Kali) and Jacob Goble (Rayna) both of Blackshear; three great-grandchildren, Raelynn Goble, Blanton Goble, and Larson Goble all of Blackshear; three siblings, Dianne Lee (the late Ira “Buddy”) of Donalsonville, Joey Goble (the late Elizabeth) of Woodbine, and Jeanne Strickland (Stan) of Waycross; two brothersin- law, Ray Hampton (Cindy) and Steven Hampton (Brenda), both of Waycross; two aunts, June Glisson and Nona Mc-Cloud both of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held February 3 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Ware County High School classmates served as honorary pallbearers.
