Destination Church, First Baptist Church of Blackshear and Zion Hill Free Will Baptist Church team Friday, February 13 as “One Church” to stage “Night to Shine” in the activity center at FBC.
The annual event, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. with 140 honored guests expected.
Participants will be greeted with a red carpet entrance, paparazzi, hair and makeup stations, shoeshines, party bus rides, karaoke, dancing, gifts, a catered dinner, a sensory room, and a respite room for parents and caregivers.
The special evening ends with with a crowning ceremony, where every guest is honored as a king or queen — the way God sees them every day.
Over the last eleven years, “Night to Shine,” has been staged throughout hundreds of churches worldwide and provided more than half a million guest experiences.
Approximately 300 volunteers will help stage the event, one of hundreds held around the globe to celebrate people with special needs. The local event is still in need of volunteers to help with cleanup when the event is over.
