Survivors include his wife, Sharon Hampton Goble, Waycross; a son, Bucky Goble (Tab atha), Blackshear; two grandsons, Hamp Goble (Kali) and Jacob Goble (Rayna) both of Blackshear; three great-grandchildren, Raelynn Goble, Blanton Goble and Larson Goble all of Blackshear; three siblings, Dianne Lee (the late Ira “Buddy”), Donalsonville, Joey Goble (the late Elizabeth), Woodbine and Jeanne Strickland (Stan), Waycross; two brothers-inlaw, Ray Hampton (Cindy) and Steven Hampton (Brenda), both of Waycross; two aunts, June Glisson and Nona McCloud both of Waycross and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, from the Music Funeral Home Chapel.

Ware County High School classmates of the Class of 1969 served as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Blackshear Shop with a Cop, 219 Nicholls Street, Blackshear, Georgia 31516; Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless, P.O. Box 2088, Waycross, Georgia 31502; or Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, Georgia 31501.

He was born in Waycross to the late Rev. Claud P. Goble Sr. and Betty Hayman Goble. He retired from Southern Eagle Distributing,
