GA Power donates to Okefenokee Heritage Center

The Okefenokee Heritage Center (OHC) was recently the recipient of a $10,000 donation from the Georgia Power Foundation. The donation will go toward the support of ongoing operations at the center.

OHC is a nonprofit museum and cultural arts organization which has served Ware, Pierce and other surrounding counties for over fifty years. The center offers classes, workshops, field trips, community events and a wide variety of art exhibits. The museum offers visitors a look at the history and culture of the area from the First Peoples to current life in the wiregrass.
