PERRY — Ware County completed a Region 1-AAAA season sweep here Friday night against struggling Perry.
The Lady Gators (7-10 overall, 4-1 region) won for the fourth time in six games rallying for a 46-43 victory over the Lady Panthers (8-11, 1-4), who lost for the fourth time in five games.
Ware County captured the January 9 home meeting notching a 46-36 decision.
The MaxPreps 11th-ranked Gators (17-3, 6-1), winners in eight of their last 10 outings, hammered the Panthers (5-14, 16), losers of seven straight, 86-52 in the nightcap setting a seasonhigh point total.
Ware County’s 65-38 home win in the first meeting started Perry’s current slide.

Ware County trailed the Lady Panters 34-31 entering the final period. White, who recorded a double-double finishing with 14 rebounds, matched Perry’s nine points as the Lady Gators outscored the home team 15-9 for the spine-tingling victory.
The Lady Panthers claimed a 13-11 advantage at the end of the first period. Perry padded the lead by intermission outscoring the Lady Gators 17-12 behind four treys during the second stanza for a 30-23 advantage.
Ware County doubled up the Lady Panthers 8-4 in a coldshooting third quarter cutting the deficit to 34-31.
Bre Hill joined White in double figures finishing with 14 points to go along with six rebounds.
Neveah Norton (trey) and Lydia Munford were next with four points and three points respectively. Charmain Farrell and Ameria Burse contributed two points apiece.
Perry’s Kampbell Mitchell (two treys) scored 12 of her team-high 15 points during the first half.

Ware County outscored the Panthers 52-18 in the first and fourth periods. The Gators scored 20 points or more in three of the four quarters of action. The two teams matched 34 points over the middle two periods.
McKoy (two treys) did most of his damage in the opening and closing stanzas scoring 23 points. Ja’Londi O’Hara (two treys) poured in 17 of his 19 points in the second half. Davion Jones contributed 12 points with Kevin Ramsey adding 11 points.
Ware County’s starters finished the game with a 70-31 scoring advantage. The Gators connected on six treys while Perry drilled 10.
Jamarion Brown (four treys) and Jamarien Green (three treys) each scored 12 points to lead the Panthers.

Ware County jetted out to a 25-8 lead at the close of the first period. The Gators outscored Perry 14-10 in the second quarter to take a 39-18 advantage to the lockerroom.
The Panthers hit half of their 10 treys during the third stanza leading to a 24-20 scoring advantage to cut the deficit to 59-42. Ware County followed doubled their advantage by the final horn using a 27-10 run over the final eight minutes.
Elan Jones just missed giving the Gators a fifth double- digit scorers finishing with nine points. Luke Hinely and Eugene Woods each added a trey for their three points. Alex Cooper bagged two points.
