SYLVESTER — Brantley County recorded its third road sweep of the season Saturday and first in Region 1-A play taking down Worth County in a Saturday afternoon matinee.
The Lady Herons (14-3 overall, 5-2 region) extended their winning streak to a season-best six games with a spine-tingling come-from-behind 45-42 decision over the Lady Rams (7-8, 2-3) January 17. Worth County entered having won four of its last six games.
The Herons (7-10, 3-4) won for the second time in three games rolling to a 71-37 victory in the finale over the Rams (5-10, 2-3). Worth County has dropped six of its last nine games.
