WAYCROSS — Linda Rosanne Moore, 73, of Waycross died Thursday evening, January 15, 2026, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House after a brief illness.
Ms. Moore was born in Atlanta to the late Rodney E. Moore, Sr. and Barbara Ann Jones Moore, and made Waycross her home for many years.
She worked and retired from the Waycross/Ware County Public Library as a librarian. She also helped with surveying for different projects using her expertise in archaeology. She enjoyed crafting, reading and was an avid avian.
Ms. Moore is survived by her mother, Barbara J. Moore of Waycross; two siblings, Rodney E. Moore, wife Julie, of Snellville, Ga. and Charles Moore of Clarksville, Ga.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization is by cremation.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
