David Wylie, who holds two degrees in accounting, has been named Chief Financial Officer at Memorial Satilla Health, Chief Executive Officer Damon Barrett an-nounced last week.
Wylie began his duties in Waycross January 7. He replaced Justin Inglett, who was named CFO of Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo., last month.
Both Memorial Satilla and Centerpoint are affiliated with HCA Healthcare. Inglett joined Memorial Satilla as CFO in August, 2024.
“We’re excited to welcome David and his family to our community,” Barrett said. “David brings extensive experience from some of the largest hospitals in the region. His financial leadership will be a strong asset as Memorial Satilla Health continues to grow and serve our community.”
Wylie joins MSH from Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, where he served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer. “I’m honored and excited to join Memorial Satilla Health as Chief Financial Officer,” Wylie said. “Rural hospitals like ours are the heart of their communities, providing essential care where it’s needed most.
“I look forward to partnering with the talented team here to strengthen our financial foundation, ensure long-term sustainability, and continue delivering
high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our patients and families.”
In his role in Savannah, Wylie served as chief staffing officer.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his post in Waycross.
Before his tenure at Memorial Health in Savannah, Wylie served as ACFO for HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville for two years.
A University of Georgia graduate, Wylie also holds a Master’s Degree in accounting and data analytics and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in accounting.
He and his wife, Hillary, will be relocating to Waycross with their two children, Charlotte and Penelope.
