Our longest shot with Lord always is the most sure shot

What is it concerning you that hangs in the balance and seemingly has no resolve? You’ve agonized and agonized over how to proceed and still no results. Even as you’ve been at a stalemate, this is the hour to thrust ahead boldly and try again.

This time follow the rules of engagement (God’s will). All of a sudden, there’s a reprisal on how to move forward. You’ve taken a number of shortcuts and arrived at the crossing of short and long, with no results. This is the destination where you are nudged again — your long shot is the sure shot!

In this new year, make it your business to go all the way in God. This is a revelation for the books, one that has opened my eyes and heart to His pursuits. The kind that changes narratives, causing great destinies to collide with purpose and hoisting a great love story to ascend.

He is surely perfecting that which concerns His people in these moments. The very place to finish successfully, is when we as believers don’t rush to finish, move in excellence with poise and integrity.

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(Deuteronomy 29: 29)

Many times we seek to finish a task or assignment quickly (God-assigned) and that’s not the solvent. When we rush, it sets up false guardrails and prohibits us from going the distance. This time is most beneficial for the believer to get back to the times when we didn’t follow His lead.

I implore you, by the mercy of God, to take the long-shot route and in this we have His assurance. To be anchored, aligned, and in agreement is evidence of the three-strand cord hovering over our lives, as we are in covenant with Him.

This divine approach will advance you and others under the sound of your voice, into higher realms in Him — a new dimension destined to lose greater exploits. Truly it is in Him, we live, move and have our being as a believer.

“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” — Amos 3: 3

This route of the journey is sure to sharpen spiritual senses and increase the level of discernment, all the while exposing the short game/weaknesses of opponents. Be advised the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. This is something we’re sure to miss when we can’t see the path ahead.

To learn the pulse or temperature is the means to an end. As well as one becoming the catalyst to swing the pendulum and carry out the long shot which is the sure shot, and is His movement in you us. It also becomes the winning strategy to advance to the other side of the trial or crisis.

When the enemy is coming at you one way, it is in the midst of the long shot you’ll survey the perimeter, adjust the coordinates and pivot. To glean a different outcome is to catapult into a new arena. After all it’s insanity to keep doing the same thing, and bearing no fruit. I don’t know about you, but the Lord keeps reminding me of the fruit. Clearly, if we’re not doing things Gods way, we can’t ever produce any fruit.

Many times over God showed us a new thing through people, in His word. When He rescued and delivered His people He changed it up every-time. The proof of the matter is the fruit that came forth. He is an on-time God who can’t fail. May this bear witness in your spirit — God is the long shot and His shot is sure.

This is why as believers/remnant we must be locked into Him, to gain His insight from which ever angle He presents the vision. Where ever we are connected to people who are not yoked to Him, it limits and prohibits sight, clarity, and understanding. That becomes a one-sided vision and God’s word states:

“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

— 2 Corinthians 6:14

We pigeonhole ourselves by connecting with nonbelievers hence don’t be unequally yoked with a nonbeliever. We also must be keenly aware when Jesus and the disciples left the town in which the people didn’t believe. Their instruction was to shake the dust off their feet. No second guessing and no questions asked.

Let this be food for thought for some and warning for others. There are times we can stay in an assignment too long and God has even instructed us to move on and yet we’re still there. We can’t shake the opponent if we’ve disobeyed the rules of engagement.
