CANEY BAY — Homestanding Brantley County handed visiting Berrien a seventh consecutive doubleheader setback in Region 1-A action here Tuesday night.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s 10th-ranked Lady Herons (12-3 overall, 3-2 region) posted a fourth consecutive win rolling to a 56-15 laugher over the Lady Rebels ((4-12, 0-5) in the opener.
The Herons (6-9, 2-3) ended a three-game losing streak in the nightcap handing the Rebels (511, 0-5) a 44-31 setback. The loss was the ninth in 10 games for Berrien.
