Macy Adell Eaddy Guy

Macy Adell Eaddy Guy, 93, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday morning, January 18, 2026, at her residence, following an extended illness.

Born May 4, 1932, in Kingstree, SC, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Carrie Norton Eaddy. She grew up in South Carolina and moved to Brantley County before living most of her life in Waycross. She had worked as a CNA at Baptist Village, at King Edwards Cigar Factory and Reuben Brothers Shoe Factory and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Guy; three daughters, Joyce Ann Hendrix, Debra Lucille Guy Sasser and Janice Elaine Cribbs; a son, Robert Leroy Guy; four sisters, Eula Chalk, Ruth Parker, Nell Morris and Myrtis Hanna and two brothers, Junior Eaddy and Goldwyn Eaddy.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Ruth Hendrix (husband Alex), Waycross; son, Benjamin Willard Guy Sr. (wife Patty), Blackshear; two sisters, Myra Smith, Thomaston and Juanita Epps, Kingstree, SC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Thomas Cemetery near Waycross.

Gsraveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the Thomas Cemetery near Waycross.
