Pierce County Sheriff’s Office honored by two groups for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Two organizations recently dropped off some treats to the Pierce County Office of the Sheriff in honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The special day is observed once a year on January 9 to honor the dedication, service and many contributions of the law enforcement officers in our communities. Shown above left (l-r) is Sheriff Ramsey Bennett with Cindy Nettles of Affinis Hospice presenting a gift bag from the hospice. Shown above right (l-r) are Sheriff Ramsey Bennett, Pam McGauley of Magnolia House of Waycross and Captain Damon Winters with goody bags to give to the dedicated deputies of Pierce County.
