Pierce County Farm Bureau (PCFB) member Lindsey Morgan was recognized during the 88th Annual Georgia Farm Bureau Convention for completing a two-year term on the Georgia Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee (WLC).
Beginning in December 2023, Morgan served on the committee as a representative of the organization’s 10th District which includes 17 counties in Southeast Georgia including Pierce. The committee works to teach children and consumers how farmers grow their food, increase the public’s understanding of the importance of agriculture and to help female members of the agricultural community develop leadership skills and equip them to engage with their elected officials.
In addition to being an active member of the GFB WLC, Morgan graduated from the 2025 fall class of the American Farm Bureau Federation Communications Boot Camp. She has represented GFB at several AFBF conferences and conventions. Morgan chairs the Pierce County Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee, which promotes agriculture in the local community. Morgan and her husband David previously served a two-year term on the GFB Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee, representing the GFB 10th District in Southeast Georgia.
The Morgans have three daughters and one son. The Morgans grow cotton, peanuts and a variety of grains on their farm in Millwood.
Morgan teaches Social Studies at Ware County High School.
