WAYCROSS — Mr. Chad Logan Hickox, 45, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 8, 2026, at his mother’s residence in Waycross.
He was born June 4, 1980 in Waycross where he lived all his life. Hickox graduated from Ware County High School, and he was employed by Walmart for 27 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Hickox was preceded in death by his mom and papa, Jean and Lonnie Hickox; and his biological father, Billy Logan, Jr.

Survivors include his brother, Ashley Logan Hickox (Michelle Bradley); nieces and nephews, Brooke, Ian, Caroline and Dakota Hickox; aunts, Janice Deal and Janelle Griffin; cousins, Tara Griffin, Kim Deal, and Amy Black; along with numerous other relatives.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 13 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial followed in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
