A Ware County firefighter puts water on a burning house on East Myrtle Avenue late New Year’s Eve. The cause of the fire in the two-story, vinyl-sided frame house remains under investigation, Ware County Fire Chief Dee Meadows said. He added fireworks were present in the neighborhood prior to the fire starting.
