No program for Aglow in January
Waycross Aglow Lighthouse of Aglow, International will not have a meeting in January, spokesperson Rosalind Eskew said last week.
The next worship program will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 14 at at Our Beloved Church at the corner of Osceola Avenue and E. Washington Avenue.
Guest speaker for the next meeting will be Carolyn Williams, president of the Georgia State Aglow Team. She will share new insights and visions for 2026 from Aglow International, which is involved in 170 countries worldwide.
DC Downtown has food ministry
DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The ministry serves more than a dozen counties in southeast Georgia and north Florida.
River of Life starts resource program
River of Life Church, 1439 Brunel Street, offers a community resource center from 10 a.m. to noon, the fourth Friday of each month.
The River Missions program will offer practical life skills, hot meals, clothing and more. Next session is January 23.

Way of Cross EPC has food giveaway
Way of the Cross EPC holds a free food and clothing giveaway at 8 a.m. the first Saturday of each month at 512 Lee Avenue.
People should bring a bag or box for items.
The first-come, firstserved giveaway will next be held February 6.
