NAHUNTA – Everitte Raymond Williams 74, of Nahunta, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness.
Born in Panama City, Fla., Williams’ parents were Ernest Williams and Vassie Lee Williams. He is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Dean.
Williams was a security guard at FLETC. He retired from the United States Navy after 22 years of service. Williams never met a stranger and loved life and lived it to the fullest.
He enjoyed fishing, wood working, computers and electronics, and playing games especially, solitaire.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Williams of Nahunta; a son, Wilton Dean of Nahunta; three grandchildren, Jamie Cruz (Ernesto), Jordan Strickland (Charity) and Cassidy Strickland; six great grandchildren, Sophia Cruz, Ava Cruz, Emilio “Billy” Cruz, Isabela Cruz, Cayde Strickland and Everitte Strickland; two sisters, Louise Sokol (Melanie Yale) and Mary Grant all of Florida; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
