Randolph “Randy” “Rudy” Aspinwall

Randolph Aspinwall, 68, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Randy” or “Rudy,” passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, after a lengthy illness.
A lifelong resident of Wayne and Pierce Counties, he was born November 2, 1957 in Jesup to the late Clyde and Joyce Johnson Aspinwall. He graduated from Wayne County High School in the Class of 1976. After graduation, he worked for a short time at the Manhattan Shirt Factory before he began to pursue his true, life-long passion, flowers and floral design. He had always helped his mother with her flower shop and he opened the doors to his own shop, Country Flowers, in 1989. He was a hard working businessman who devoted his life to the occupation he loved so dearly. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Screven and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family when he wasn’t working.
Survivors include his brother, Andy Aspinwall and wife, Nancy, Patterson; sister, Cindy Brown and husband, Chris, Screven; aunts, Doris Thomas, Betty Roberson and Cheryl Johnson, all of Patterson, Mickey Greentree of South Carolina and Marie Vorpe, Dinsmore, Florida; nephews, Drew Aspinwall and his wife, Nikki, and their children Kallan Aspinwall and Beau Aspinwall, Jared Boatright and wife, Nicole, and their children, Morgan Boatright, Briley Boatright, Ethan Boatright and Addie Boatright and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 from the Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup with Durwood Miller officiating. 
Interment services will be held privately in Screven City Cemetery. 
Remembrances may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.
