Have you ever been in deep thought, but couldn’t hear yourself think? How do you flush out the noise?
Here’s a tip: to be at peace is the prudent response. Even in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. One way to experience quiet in the noise; when we keep our mind stayed on Him, He’ll keep us in perfect peace. This time of year, many are pulled in different directions.
It’s hard to keep track of our priorities. Many things get pushback, which can lead to procrastination. This time of year is an optimum time to search for quiet in the noise, by rest, examine, summation, and trust (rest).
This rest will confidently ready us for the start of the new year. Thereby bracing us to run with it. This is monumental for those of us who have already written the vision and made it plain.
As we cross over into 2026, it’s our turning point, and we don’t want to miss it. In the spaces and places where God prompted you to write the vision and make it plain, that was not a waste of effort.
How do you know this instruction is from on High and applies to you? You obeyed God and wrote the vision. Remembering the holy Ghost leads us into all truth.
In a moment of clarity, the purpose in you is often to do one thing, and God uses another to finish the assignment. He always finishes what He starts. That’s His way of sharing the wealth.
We must be in tune with Him, no ifs, ands, or buts. It’s safe to point out people are waiting on you to walk purposefully in your God-given calling.
“He humbles the proud and brings the haughty city to the dust; its walls come crashing down.”

We often get stuck on the notion that it can’t be done without us. That’s pride and laughable at best. God doesn’t need the believer to partner with Him. It’s the Lord who raises us and brings down the haughty when we consistently remain in disobedience.
That is why He refers to those types as stiffnecked people. He allows us the opportunity to partner with Him. Just as He placed purpose in us and postures us to carry it out. God knows the hour for that purpose to permeate the region where your footing is in motion.
“I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.”

It is the Lord who calls your purpose forth at just the right time, just as the Angel of the Lord spoke to Mary. To let her know what God appointed her to carry literally. For Mary, her calling was to be divinely impregnated.
No one else can birth Jesus; that was Mary’s purpose. As the Lord has made it incredibly clear, we, too, have a mega purpose within us. The scriptures point out many are called, but few are chosen.
Where do you fit into God’s mega plan? Indeed, it will be God to make it plain to you and you alone. When He conveys to you what you’ve been carrying all this time, don’t be shocked or even afraid. Rest assured, what you’re chosen to carry out, you’re built for.
This pen reminds me of seasons past. Someone was questioning who God called me to be and was joking about it. I was just about to respond, to defend myself verbally.
I heard God clearly say, “Don’t say a word!” There was no other word from me. Once I arrived home and in my prayer time, I heard God say, “Yes, she’s called, but I called you by name. He also said, “You are different.”
I was flabbergasted because I really wanted to say something, but I didn’t. Here, He gives me insight, and that makes it plain for me. The key is that He desires the believer to trust Him. I didn’t get the point until I arrived home. That yields credence for us to trust in the Lord with all our heart.
