Ware County heads into its final game on the 2025 calendar riding a ninegame winning streak.
Gators (9-1) knocked off visiting Class 6A Richmond Hill (6-4) 61-47 Monday, December 22. They followed with a 6539 rout Saturday, December 27 of Hilton Head Island (S.C., 7-5) at the Brunswick Christmas tournament.
Ware County knocked of McIntosh County Academy (6-5) 68-46 Monday afternoon, December 29.
The Gators wrapped up play against tourney host Brunswick Tuesday, December 30. They play Saturday at Orange Park (Fla.).
The Lady Gators lone game before a two-week break ended with a 37-35 loss to visiting Richmond Hill. The victory gave the Lady Wildcats the season sweep following the 52-35 home win November 25.
No report was filed on the game.
The Lady Gators travel Tuesday, December 6 to Hilliard (Fla.) High School.

Masiyer McKoy score 18 of his game-high 20 points in the second half helping Ware County rally from a nine-point halftime deficit to beat the Wildcats.
The Gators, who trailed 25-16 at intermission, outpaced Richmond Hill 4522 over the final 16 minutes.
The visitors used six field goals in the opening period to open up a 12-8 advantage. Richmond Hill outpointed the Gators 138 in the second stanza for the nine-point halftime lead.
McKoy scored 12 of Ware County’s points in the third period as the Gators gained control outscoring the Wildcats 20-6 to take a 36-31 lead. The Gators outran Richmond Hill in the final quarter 25-16 for the final 14-point margin.
Travis Story followed McKoy’s lead finishing with nine points. Davion Jones, Isaiah White and Ja’Londi O’Hara each scored seven points.
Tayshaun Franklin chipped in six points with Elon Jones netting four points. R.J. Munford contributed a free throw.
Ware County finished 20-of-30 from the free throw line while the Wildcats converted 2-of-5. Alonzo Miller paced Richmond Hill with 18 points. Drew Nudo followed with 15 points.
Gators....................65 Hilton Head...........39 BRUNSWICK — The Gators outscored Hilton Head Island in each quarter in pulling away for the 26-point decision.
Jones (game-high 19 points), McKoy (13) and Ramsey (12) combined for 44 points to outscore the Seahawks.
Jones did most of his damage in the first half netting 15 points. Ramsey poured in 10 points over the final two periods with McKoy finishing with eight second-half points.
Ware County buried three treys, two by White (eight points) in the first period in racing out to a 19-10 advantage. The Gators outscored Hilton Head 15-10 in the second quarter to open up a 34-18 halftime lead.
Ramsey and McKoy combined for 14 points in the 16-10 third period scoring run helping the Gators to a 50-28 lead. Seven players contributed in a 15-11 scoring advantage over the final eight minutes.
Story was next in the scoring column with six points. Luke Hinely’s three points came on a trey. O’Hara and Vinson bucketed two points apiece.
Hilton Head Island was paced by the 10 points of Keidis Smith.

BRUNSWICK — Ware County used a 15-point scoring advantage in the second period to blow the game open against the Bucs.
After jumping out to an 11-8 first quarter lead, the Gators used a 20-5 scoring advantage in the second stanza to build a 31-13 halftime cushion.
The pace quickened over the final 16 minutes. Ware County widened the margin by two points by the end of the third period outscoring the Bucs 19-17 for a 50--30 working margin. The Gators closed the game with an 18-16 scoring advantage in the final period.
Ramsey led four Ware County players in double figures finishing with 16. White hit four treys en route to scoring 14 points.
Story finished with 12 points while McKoy netted 10. Munford just missed reaching the mark with a nine-point effort. Jones contributed seven points.
MCA’s Justus Ratliff nailed four treys to finish with a team-high 12 points. Marquise Manning scored nine of his 11 points from the charity stripe.
