Chorba
WAYNESVILLE – Timothy “Timmy” Chorba, 64 of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness.
Born in Wiles-Barre, Pa., Chorba’s parents were William Chorba and Mary Grace Edgy Chorba. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Daren Chorba; and a son-in-law, Chuck Langford.
Chorba was a plumber along with many other occupations. He loved spending time with his grandkids, working, watching Westerns and fishing.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Chorba (Crissy) of Hortense; a daughter, Jessica Langford of Nahunta; five grandchildren, William Rhett Chorba, Ellie Grace Chorba, Bryden Chorba, Hunter Langford and Riley Langford; a brother and sister-in-law, Mitchell Chorba (Cindy) of Hortense; a sister, Teysha Justice (Gordy Shaw) of Waynesville; mother of his children, Christine Drury Turner; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
