Beverly
WAYCROSS – Steven Gregory Beverly, 66 of Waycross, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at his residence after a brief illness.
Born in Davenport, Iowa, Beverly’s parents were the late Mary Patricia Roberts Beverly and Billy Grady Beverly of Waycross. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Thomas Beverly; a sister, Nancy Susan Beverly; and his maternal grandparents, J.C. and Juanita Roberts.
Beverly was a truck driver and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He loved dogs, being involved with animal rescues, flying and sky diving.
Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Diaz of Brunswick; three grandchildren, Maria Diaz, Anna Diaz and Anthony Diaz; a great grandchildren, River Scurry of Brunswick; three brothers, Clay Beverly of Hoboken, Glen Beverly of Mississippi and Cliff Beverly of Brunswick; two close friends, Joe and Mark; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
