Ronald Howard ‘Ronnie’ Haire

Ronald Howard “Ronnie” Haire, 69, of Patterson, passed away early Thursday morning, December 25, 2025, at his residence, following an extended illness.
Born July 25, 1956, in Miami, Florida, he was a son of the late Jessie Lee “Buddy” Haire and Lena Emelyn Sweat Walker.  He lived most of his life in Pierce County and was a 1974 graduate of Blackshear High School. He was a long-time millwright at Gilman Building Products, retiring in 2019.
He was a member of Hacklebarney Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and doing anything outdoors. He enjoyed working and helping others and spending time with his family who he dearly loved.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-dad, Willie Winaford “Winnie” Walker; an infant daughter; a brother, John David Haire; a step-brother, Freddie Walker; a stepsister, Marcelle Bennett and his mother-in-law, Norris Evelyn Sapp.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Denise Sapp Haire, Patterson; three daughters, Monica Waters (husband Kenny), Patterson, Margo Panning (husband Nick),  Offerman and Mindy Winn (husband Bryant), Patterson; 10 grandchildren, Brianna Waters, Carrie Waters, Matthew Panning, Maddie Panning, Brooklyn Panning, Bentley Panning, Evy Thrift, Coley Thrift, Zachary Winn and Zoe Winn; two great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Reed and Trevyn Reed; five siblings, Robert Lee Haire, Waycross, Roy Evan Walker, Patterson, Brenda Diane Sparks, Hortense and Michael Haire and Ricky Haire, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; father-in-law, James “Cotton” Sapp, Patterson; brother-in-law, Eddie Sapp, Patterson and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, from the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, from the Laura Chapel Cemetery.
