Memorial Satilla Health has partnered with The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Project to provide Christmas gifts for 100 local children in need. Staff from across the hospital adopted Angel Tree tags, ensuring 100 children will receive toys, clothes, and other essential items this holiday season.
The initiative reflects Memorial Satilla’s core mission to care like family, which extends beyond the clinical setting to the overall wellbeing of local families. “We talk a lot about caring for people like family at our hospital, and that commitment doesn’t stop when the shift ends,” said Greg O’Quinn, Vice President of Human Resources. “I’m proud of our team. They showed up by ensuring 100 children in the Waycross community wake up to the joy of Christmas morning. This is what true community care looks like.”
