The Pierce County Planning Commission discuss and/or voted on the following during their regular monthly meeting Monday, December 8.
Rezoning for 0.87 acres at NW Central Avenue and Repparde St., Blackshear: Planning commissioners approved recommending approval of rezoning of 0.87 acres at NW Central Avenue and Repparde Street, Blackshear, from (SF) single-family to (MF) multi-family. Owner Alison Byrd made the request. Byrd says she plans to construct apartments at that location. There was no public opposition to the request. The item will be forwarded to the county commission for final approval.
Rezoning for one acre on Grady Street, Blackshear: Planning commissioners approved recommending approval of a request for rezoning one acre on Grady Street, Blackshear, from (SF) single- family to (MF) multifamily. Applicant plans to build apartments on the site. There was no public opposition to the request. The item will be forwarded to the county commission for final approval.
