Blackshear Rotary Club recently participated in the Angel Bag project to benefit families in need at the Pierce County Food Pantry. “Thank you to Pierce County Family Connection, for letting us know about this project, and Pierce County Chamber for helping distribute bags,” said Club President Stacey Thrift. Rotarians packed 50 grocery bags with shelf staples to accompany the Food Pantry’s holiday meal distribution. The Pantry provides the meat for a family Christmas meal and Angel Bags supply all the trimmings.
