The Elf Who Almost Stole Christmas By Hazel Cason
One Christmas eve Santa and Mrs. Claus had a big problem up at the North Pole. One of the elves stole all of the Christmas presents, so no kid could get one. Santa and Mrs. Claus had to fix this! Then one of the elves said to Santa, “Christmas is ruined!”
Santa said, “No it is not! We just have to put an end to it.”
So, they went into the Candy Cane Forest. Santa was rubbing his white beard and was confused.
Then they saw something running through the forest! It was the elf who stole the presents. It turned out to be Snowflake, but Santa and Mrs. Claus knew they still had to catch her.
After that, they stopped at an old, abandoned cottage to have some hot coco, but when Santa went to grab a cup, Santa got trapped in a cage.
Luckily, Santa had magic to get out, so he lifted the cage up and got out safely. After that, they left the cottage. Santa and Mrs. Claus then heard cars going down the street and saw big buildings. They were not workshops. They were New York buildings! Santa thought, how did we end up here?
But next, they saw a little Santa hat and tiny footprints in the snow. So, they followed them, and it led them to a tiny little house. They went inside, and there she was… Snowflake!!! Santa and Mrs. Claus trapped her, and that very night, Santa rode his sleigh, and every boy and girl got a present on Christmas morning.
Max and North By Max Cruz
There was once a boy named Max who was always happy. He had a dog named North. He was a special dog. Max did not know that North was special. Max would play with him all the time.
Little did he know that North would sneak off to the North Pole and play with an elf named Elfis.
Elfis and North were good friends. North loved Santa, and Santa loved him because the name North reminded him of his home, the North Pole.
Back home, Max was playing in the back yard when he saw North sneak off. Max followed him.
Soon, Max was at the North Pole. Max saw an Elf playing with North. North was not paying attention, and all of a sudden Max saw Santa.
Santa came up to Max and said, “You have a very special dog, Max!” Max said he did not know just how special North was. Max looked at North and asked, “So, you can fly?” North barked “Yes!” Max yelled, “You can speak?” “Yes,” North barked. “You are so so so special, North!” Max said. “You can fly and speak! That's so special, and that’s so cool that you can see Santa whenever you want to and play with the elf too,” said Max. I could stay here with you forever!
