My Special Elf By Lucas Harris

One foggy Christmas eve a boy named Charlie lived in a little house in snowville. But he had a really big problem: he didn't have anything on his Christmas list! But then Charlie thought of a wonderful thing to go on his Christmas list. “I could wish for an elf on the shelf. wait but I just forgot about something the elf only comes on the first day of december. Well I guess I’ll have to wait till next December first.

Then it was Christmas day. Charlie had no idea of what his parents were going to get him for Christmas.

But he still thought it was going to be something good. Could you guess what I got? I bet you were thinking I was going to get like a new toy or something like that. But somehow instead I got a pack of underwear and a pack of socks. But luckily that was only my 2 first gifts. Maybe this could end up a lot better. Well, could you guess what my 3rd present was? It was a new raincoat. Okay that isn't horrible but still why can't I get like a new toy or something. I just don't understand. Then I finally made it to my last gift. “Im so excited, “ said Charlie. It was a …….. Pair of shorts. “Are you kidding me” said Charlie ''no” said mom. “Do you like it? “ said mom. “I guess,” said Charlie. Then I went to my room, and I screamed into my pillow . you know maybe next Christmas will be a little better. Then it was the next Christmas. Well we had a couple of weeks till christmas. Then mom came to my room with a little present. “What is this?” said Charlie. “You will have to open it and see,” mom said. I carefully took off the wrapping paper. Could you guess what it was? It was an elf. That came with a little book. If you didnt know I dont know anything about elf but every time when I go to school my friends always tell me about their elf. “ I think you're supposed to read the book,” said mom. “Okay” said Charlie.

“We can all take turns reading after supper,” said mom. “What are we having for supper?” said Charlie. “ We're going to eat at the Santa snack shack,” said mom. “Yay” said Charlie. Then it was the next day when mom told me she had to go on a business trip. So I would have to have a babysitter watch me. Also she wont be here in time on christmas day to watch me open presents. This is probably going to be the worstest Christmas ever. Then the babysitter was here. Her name was Ashley. Something just sounded fishy about that name. Maybe it's nothing. Don't tell mom but the babysitter let me stay up late! My mom never lets me stay up late. Usually I have to go to bed at 8 o'clock. Then it was the next morning when I walked in the living room and the elf was on top of the christmas tree. I think I’m going to name you Mr. Pickleberry Then I just jumped on the couch and started watching my favorite christmas movie called “Home Alone” I bet you all know that movie. Then I heard a little voice say hello. “Huh what was that?” said Charlie. Me you elf. “Theres no way my elf is talking right now” said Charlie. “Um, actually I am talking,” said Pickleberry. “Ahhhhhhhhh” said Charlie. “ My elf is talking,' said Charlie! “Do you want to go on a little adventure?” said Pickleberry. “I guess, “ said Charlie. Then I quickly ran into some portal thingy. “ Where are we going?” said Charlie. “Dont worry we will be there in about two more seconds” said Pickleberry. “Its still crazy to me of how I'm literally talking to my elf right now” said Charlie. “One,two,” said Charlie. Then all of a sudden we quickly fall right out of the portal into this really big hole and end up in the woods. “Oh no,” said Pickleberry. “What's the matter?” said Charlie. “We were supposed to teleport to the North Pole,” said Pickleberry. “We were going to go to the North Pole,” said Charlie! “Well I guess we have to find our way out of here” said Pickleberry. “Uugggggggh,” said Pickkleberry. “What is it?” said Charlie. “Don’t you see that polar bear right in front of your face?” said PIckleberry. “Agggggggggggggh” said Charlie. “Run,” said Pickleberry! Then we got chased by a polar bear for about 30 minutes. But we also found a way out of the woods. Then Pickleberry sprinkled a little magic dust on me so I could fly. I was thinking it was going to take like 1,0000 days to get to the north pole , but with the magical flying dust it only took us like 5 minutes! “Why did you even take me on this journey?” said Charlie. “Well we wanted to know if you want to be an elf with the rest of us?’ said Pickleberry. “Of course I do,” said Charlie! “But I might need to ask my parents first,” said Charlie. “Okay” said Pickleberry. “ I think I have the perfect idea,” said PIckleberry. “But you'll have to wait and see,” said Pickleberry. Then Pickleberry took me to meet Santa. He said I was on the Nice list. “Yay” said Charlie. Then PIckleberry said “well I guess it's your time for you to leave”. Then it was the next Christmas. There was a little present that said From PIckle To Mom. Here you go mom. “ Dear Charlie mom, your son has been really good this year. We might have gone on a little adventure together. I might have even let him fly a little. But we wanted to know if your kid can become an elf like us and come to the North Pole and work with us. “Of course he can, “ Mom said.

The Crazy Christmas!

On Jolly Street, it was Christmas Eve. Lily and Alex were playing in the snow while mom was getting dinner ready. When mom told Alex and Lily dinner was ready they both ran inside. They had a delicious meal! When they finished eating, they ran upstairs to put their pajamas on. They hopped on to their bed and went to sleep. Lily and Alex could barely sleep. They decided to try to catch Santa, but mom found them and said, “ Go back to bed, you need some sleep!”

So they did.

“COK A DOODLE DOO!” Lily and Alex heard the rooster! They hopped out of bed and ran downstairs. It looked like a winter wonderland! The presents were wrapped up so neatly and the cookies were eaten! They ran to the Christmas tree and opened all the presents! The family came to their house to eat. But all of a sudden….. Someone forgot to close the door and A LOT of snow came into the house. Alex and Lily's cousins played in it while Dad tried to clean it up. Then about three deer came into the house! A mom, a dad, and a baby deer. They jumped on the tables and messed up the food. Most of the presents were ruined but Alex and Lily didn’t get upset, they laughed and played with the three deer. After the family left, mom, dad, Lily, and Alex helped clean up the house. Mom asked Alex and Lily, “ Did you have a good Christmas?” Alex and Lily said “ More than good!” And they cleaned and played outside together.

The Snowglobe By Jaralynn Harper

One magical day, a snowglobe appeared in my room.I shook the snowglobe, and my whole room wobbled.My mom did not feel anything! She said my dad did not feel anything either.My parents said, “You're just getting sick.” I said, “No I am not.” They were not the happiest at that response.

Suddenly, snow began falling from my roof.It kept piling up until I couldn't see anyt hing.My mom came in and took the snowglobe. She was shaking it a lot. It felt like the whole earth was shaking. But when she was shaking it, it was like I could see her face.I was trying to talk to her, but she did not see or hear me.I was trying to tell her, “I am sorry. I love you mom.” My mom sent a search party for me.They still could not figure it out.

I kept trying to talk to my mom. I tried telling her to help. I could not find my way out .I could not find a door or anything .Suddenly I saw a yeti. But the yeti led me to a door. The yeti said “Open the door!” So I did and teleported me back to my room.My mom said “I was worried sick about you! Where have you been?” I told her, “It is a long story.” I was just happy to be back!

The Snowglobe Christmas By Bentley Medders

Once upon a time there was a kid named Bentley and his sister named Kinsie. But one day they woke up in a snowglobe. At first they started to panic but they realised it was kind of a nice place until they saw the grinch.

The grinch had a sled full of presents, lights and ornaments. They tried to stop him, but he was just too fast. Then they saw Whoville, but the grinch stole all their lights. So it looked like there was no Christmas jolly. But that all changed when he forgot to get the Christmas tree lights.

So we knew he'd come back. So we set up a trap to catch him.

Later that night when he came back he wasn’t ready for us.

He walked right into our trap, so we asked why he hated Christmas so much. He said, “My heart is too small.” We felt bad, so we said, “We’ll help!” So we had a Christmas party. And his heart grew bigger and bigger until he loved Christmas again. Finally, we teleported back to our house, but we had a great time in the end.

When The Grinch Came To My House By: Evie Ponce Will Jaxson and Evelyn make the Grinch's heart 3 times bigger and save Christmas, or will they not?

Once upon a time,when the Grinch was on Mount Crumpit, he wanted to steal Christmas. He didn’t want to ruin Christmas at Whoville. It was so cold that the Grinch said, “ I could freeze until I'm an ice cube.“ He wanted to ruin Christmas in Blackshear, Georgia on one single road, Aaron Lane. Then he got to Georgia and said “I’m so hot that I could melt into a puddle.”

When the Grinch got into the first house he saw the presents under the Christmas tree. He stole all of them. Then,he had to figure out how to try to get the Christmas tree into the bag,then he said “Aha! I need my shrink-pink-a-link ray!” But as he went out, a little boy named Jaxson and the older sister Evelyn snuck into the Grinch’s bag and “Ahhhhhhh!” The Grinch saw them both and said “Uh! What are you doing! You two aren't supposed to be awake!” As they ran, the Grinch chased Jax and Evie, he got tired and lost his breath. He said “ I’ll catch you some other time!”

When he went to pick up the bag it was heavy but managed to get it in his sleigh. When he got to mount Crumpit he opened the bag and saw Jaxson and Evelyn “Aha! I knew it! You want to save Christmas because you want your “presents!” As the Grinch said with a grin. When he went to bed Max, his dog, came! They quietly cheered ”Hooray! Max is here!” But when the Grinch came out he didn’t see anything. He said to himself “Maybe I should go pick them up from the cold and return all the Christmas presents.” So he went out to Evie and Jax and said “ I’m-I’m sorry.” “ Now let’s go save Christmas!” But when he tried starting his sleigh it wouldn’t start but had enough looking-gas but enough to go to a gas station.

When he got to Georgia, they saved Christmas. But it’s not done yet. He was a little hungry and tired so they let him eat and let him sleep in their house and his heart grew 3 times bigger. That’s the true meaning of Christmas.

Dear Santa,

How are you? How is Miss Claus? How is it at the north pole? I hope it is good at the north pole. I was good this year. Can I get all of these presents?

I want a dino set and a skateboard.

I want a train set, a piano, a drum set, and a guitar.

I want a lego set, a car set, and a book about dinosaurs. I want a wall ball, a clock, a new turtle, a pencil box, a new Nintendo game, and a pink Nintendo.

I would love to get all of these things for Christmas!

I would like to say thank you for all the things you gave me for Christmas last year. My favorite Christmas was when you gave me a meta guest. I want a fun Christmas this year. So here is a list of stuff that I want for Christmas and wishes. I would like it to snow. I would like to have a cat, a Playstation 5, a tv, a history book about the world, a JBL bluet ooth speaker, a phone, some headphones, a note book, a pen set, a camera, a PC, a keyboard, a wireless mouse, a lunch box, a math book, a monitor, some concert tickets, a four wheeler, and that’s all. I would be really thankful for all of this.

My Christmas Surprise By Braxton Zauner

It was a late night a few days before Christmas and I was coming home from basketball practice. When I got home I decided to eat dinner. After I ate I went to get in the shower. A few minutes later I got out of the shower. When I got out of the shower I went to bed.

When I woke up I looked at my calendar. There are only 2 days until Christmas! I go to eat breakfast. When I get done eating I go to brush my teeth and then I decide to chill. I looked at the clock and I realized I had a game at 10:00 am today. So I went to put on my basketball uniform. After the game I got a milkshake to celebrate the win. After I ate my milkshake I took a nap because I didn’t get much sleep today. When I wake up I realize it’s lunch time. I go to make myself a sandwich for lunch. When I get done eating I watch a christmas movie because christmas is coming up. When the movie is done I eat dinner. After that I go to bed.

When I wake up I look at my calendar.

Only 1 day until Christmas! I go to get clothes on. Then I go to eat breakfast. After I eat I brush my teeth. After that I play on my phone. I asked my dad if I could go to my friend's house named Sawyer. My dad said yes so I rode my dirt bike down to his house. When I get there we play for a while. Then I look at the time and it’s already lunch time. I tell Sawyer I have to leave, and then I leave to go eat lunch. When I get home my dad starts to make me lunch. After I eat I go back to Sawyer’s. When I get there we play catch. I noticed it was getting late so I went home. When I got home my dad had pizza made! After I eat I go to take a shower. When I get out of the shower I go to bed.

It’s the middle of the night and I had a nightmare and woke up. I go into the living room and see Santa! I stare at Santa for a second and then I go outside to see his sleigh and the reindeer. I look at the reindeer and I go to pet them. Then I go back inside and run up to Santa and I say “are you the real santa?” He responds back and says “yes I am, but go back to bed and open the presents in the morning. So I go back to bed and wait till morning. When morning finally comes I open my presents with my dad. Then I see a note. It says “Dear Braxton you have been a very good kid this year, but you have also been a little naughty and for that reason I will only give you half the presents that you asked for, Love Santa. After that I open my presents and realize I only got half the presents I asked for.

I was in shock so I decided to write a note back to him. The note said “Dear santa I have read your letter and I am totally ok with your decision, but there was one present I really wanted so if you will give me the xbox I asked for I will never be naughty again, Love Braxton.” A few days later I got a letter from Santa! It said “Dear Braxton im happy you will not be naughty, so I have a surprise for, go check your mail, Love Santa. So I went outside to check my mail, and then I saw it. He gave me an xbox! I was so happy I ran inside to set it up.

After I set it up I wrote one last letter to Santa. It said “Dear santa thank you so much for the xbox I really appreciate it, Love Braxton. I told my dad this is the best Christmas ever! I hope every year is like this from now on.
