Patterson Elementary students share their favorite Christmas memories

My favorite Christmas memory was at my Gigi’s house in 2024. We had my uncle and my cousins and also my family including my Gigi. One reason is we ate and read the Bible then prayed before opening the presents. Another reason is I felt happy because I was with my family and we were opening presents. The third reason is we played flag football and drank hot chocolate. The fourth reason is everybody was happy to have presents and be with the family all day. For lunch we ate some hamburgers and hotdogs. Finally me and my cousin Easton jumped in the pool. It was the best Christmas ever.

My favorite Christmas memory was 2024 in my living room. My Grandma, my Mom, my Stepdad, my Brother and my Sister were there for the greatest memory ever.

We woke up to a tree with lots of presents underneath. When I saw all the presents I felt so excited, and happy. After my Mom got her coffee,we started opening the gifts. I had got so many great gifts.

My little Sister was so cute trying to unwrap gifts. It was the best Christmas because I got to spend it with all my family members. The best gift I got was a watermelon scented dawn dish soap bottle with the soap in it of course. Another thing I got was a Bratz doll. It made me feel so happy for my family because they had great useful gifts. I had so much fun spending Christmas morning with my family.

My favorite Christmas memory was last year. It was Christmas, Sunday we went to church but before we went to church, we looked in our stockings.

After we looked in our stockings we started changing into church clothes. Then we started eating breakfast. So after that, we went to church.

Our pastor Brother. Greg started preaching. Like every good pastor they talk about the Holy bible So since it was Christmas Brother. Greg talked about Christmas and our Lord, our Savior, our Holy God Jesus Crist. Then they let us watch a little Christmas robot play. A little scary but it was nice that they did that. So it was fun, my mom fixed lunch. So after lunch we opened presents! After that we ate Christmas dinner.

Christmas of 2024 when I was at my house I got a laptop for christmas and that was the best memory I have ever had. I got to get games like minecraft the hunter call of the wild.

I got magnetic blocks that I still play with to this day.

I got a little Jesus plushie that is still on my bed right now. I got a lot of candy that I ate right away. I ate it fast, like really fast. I got a rubix cube. I tried to solve it but I never did. On January 2nd 2025 I went on a trip to Tennessee. I went to a gift shop and got two things: a fanny pack and a little puppy plushie. I went to a carnival and went on some rides and came back on the last day of Christmas break. Then I had a Christmas party at my Nanas. I opened a Christmas present at my Daddy’s and got a bike and a lot of stuff. I was so happy with all the stuff I got.

My favorite Christmas memory is when I got my vanity. I was really blessed that I got what I wanted. The reason why it is my favorite memory is, because it was my number one thing on my Christmas list and I've always wanted a vanity to sit at and draw pictures and do arts and crafts and I wanted to do my skincare.

When I saw that I got a vanity my jaw dropped.

After me and my family ate breakfast, we went to my mimi’s house to open presents. When me and my family got home we set up my vanity and it was so pretty that it is my Christmas memory.

My favorite Christmas memory is one Christmas morning when my elves oreo and coco had got a whole bunch of toilet paper and put it over the fan and hung on it.

I couldn't touch it so I turned the fan on but I was only 5. It was hilarious! After they had zoomed out the door I was so scared that I was going to get in trouble that I went back to sleep. When my sister woke up she started crying because she thought the elves were dead. I had felt so bad that I had told her what had happened. She had understood but I had still got two presents taken away.
