Big crowd enjoys weather, festivities

Saturday (December 20) wound up being the weekend for the Christmas festival and parade in Nahunta after prior weeke n d plans (December 6) were washed out with really bad storms.

Normally you would think it would be a cold weekend to have the festival and parade, but other than it being sort of chilly first thing Saturday morning the rest of the day turned out great.

A bunch of vendors showed up and a really large crowd showed up, too. I think this may have been one of the largest number of vehicles that came to the car show and there were some nice ones on display.

I actually believe I have been doing this event for over 20 years. This may be my best one yet as far as selling books and calendars.

I also got to meet and talk with a lot of old friends and new friends I had never even met before until Saturday.
