Ware BOE sets meetings in Jan.
The Ware County Board of Education holds its regular monthly meetings Monday-Tuesday, January 12-13, both at 6 p.m. at 1301 Bailey Street.
The Monday meeting will be a work session followed the next day by the business meeting. Both are open to the public.

Rec. Dept. holds Sr. Dance Jan. 10 The Ware County Recreation Department holds a Senior Dance from 7 to 10 p.m., Saturday January 10 at the Trembling Earth Complex, 2119 Cecil Brown Drive.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with admission $7. There will be door prizes, light a refreshments, and DJ Fred Hand playing the old hits. Call (912) 287-4488.
Diabetes group meets first Sat.
The Talki Foundation’s monthly support group 912 Diabetes Initiative for people with diabetes and their caregivers will holds meetings the first Saturday of each month.
The support group will meet at 11 a.m., in the Memorial Satilla Health Annex Classroom, 1800 Alice Street. First meeting is January 3.
